★★★ROY BLAIR FAN CLUB★★★

INTRODUCTION

Welcome fellow Royholics to my Roy Blair fanclub! Here I will be royposting a bunch and collecting my favourite images, facts and general thirsting over him. If you aren't a royholic you should probably just leave, get a better taste in music, and come back.

I first discovered Roy around the time he dropped Cat Heaven. I was a big fan of Brockhampton since the start of 2017 and also a big fan of Drew and Enya and stuff back then. He did a lot of work on the early Saturation albums for BH, so I was instantly into him, alongside Ryan Beatty.

During 2017 / 2018 as I was finishing highschool, Roy became my favourite artist as it really suited the way I felt at the time. I really enjoyed the range of feelings through Cat Heaven, my favourite songs were Grow Up, Jane, Switchblade and Happy. Now, my favourite by far is probably Alex or maybe Jane. I remember watching all his music videos after Cat Heaven came out and getting so excited when he had an E30 just like me.

For a while there wasn't any new music, but after a while he started dropping some new singles for an upcoming project called GRAFFIT. I was really into the song Fantazia when it came out. I Don't Know About Him is also another one of my all time favourites from him. Unfortunately, GRAFFITI never came out and there hasn't been any official releases since then.

Luckily Roy seems to have a new album coming out called Chasing Moving Trains. I am very hyped for it even know we barely hear from him anymore. If it's even close to being as good as the unreleased version of GRAFFITI I will be very happy.

SUSNET EP & DEMOS

Before Cat Heaven, Roy released most of his music on Spotify. At this time he released a lot of demos and even a short EP called Sunsets. My favourite song from Sunsets would have to be HELP, but I am also a big fan of CHERRY TREE.

There were quite a few songs that came out in between Sunsets and Cat Heaven, a lot of which were meant to be on CH but never made it. A lof of them remain some of my favourite tracks. The Sucker demo and the UK demo are really great and make me feel really nostalgic when I remember they exist on Soundcloud. He also released Shell and Vans, two singles that never made it onto CH. They have that very distinct sound from Cat Heaven but I understand why they were cut. I really love the outro on Shell... like a lot.
